How Social Temp Mail works
- Create or enter an address. Start with a generated temporary address or type the exact inbox you need to check.
- Wait for the message. The live inbox uses server-sent events when available and falls back to periodic refresh.
- Read only what you need. Copy verification codes, open confirmation links, inspect attachments, or export the stored message when appropriate.
Use temporary email for low-risk, short-term messages. Do not use disposable inboxes for banking, sensitive personal data, long-term password recovery, legal documents, or communications that require durable confidentiality.
Why use a separate temporary inbox?
A temporary address can reduce clutter in your primary mailbox and separate one-time signups or test traffic from long-term accounts. Social Temp Mail also supports multiple saved inboxes in the same browser, unread indicators, message search tools, verification-code detection, attachment downloads, and privacy-oriented message reading.
Temporary email does not make a third-party website trustworthy and does not replace a secure permanent mailbox. Choose the right kind of inbox for the sensitivity and lifetime of the account you are creating.
